 
The Ponteland Parish Council was set up to
provide essential Public Services
& valuable
Support to the Local Community of Ponteland.
We are located
in the South of Northumberland,
within the larger Borough of Castle Morpeth.
The Ponteland Parish Council is responsible for
a number of services provided
to the residents
of the Ponteland and Darras Hall areas.
Much of the
work done by the council is through
Working Groups, who make recommendations
for
action to be taken by the Ponteland Parish council.
These Working
Groups include the Highways
Working Group, the Environment Working Group
and the Airport Working Group.
The Council also have a planning committee
which meets once a fortnight to look at all of the
planning applications within
the Ponteland Parish.
If Ponteland residents have any comments, they
are
sent to the Castle Morpeth Borough Council.
